Transcription Process Overview:

The process can be well understood by the detailed process flow diagram.

	Dictation Capturing
	Meditech offers two dictation options to physicians: Phone-based Dictation via a toll-free line Digital Dictaphone (Computer & Internet connection is required).
	Dictation Storage
	Regardless of the dictation option selected, the recorded dictation is automatically transferred to Meditech servers in the USA using secured networks. All dictations are tagged with a time stamp.
	Voice File Transfer to Meditech's Operations Facility
	Recorded voices are then transferred to Meditech's operations facility with priority and author ID tagging.
	Distribution of Work at Meditech Team
	The recorded voice files are distributed to the transcriptionists assigned to specific physicians for transcription into Word documents.
	Quality Control
	These transcribed files (Word documents) are again checked by highly experienced professionals to ensure quality output at each level. Our key edge is that our editing group includes medical doctors, Physicians to double check medical terminology, appropriateness of terms used, consistency and grammar. These measures ensure the quality of our work.
	Delivery
	Meditech offers multiple document delivery options, which include delivery over email, FTP or even Web-based delivery.

Dictation Option: Meditech offers two dictation options to Clients.

Toll Free Dictation

Toll free number in USA, which the doctors can dial and do the dictation from anywhere, anytime from their home/ office or cell. Simply Dial our 1-800 number, enter your unique identification number and you can leave your dictation at the touch of a bottom.

It is a very easy system to use with all the functionality's like pause, rewind, multiple dictations etc. Any number of users can simultaneously do the dictation.

There is no setup time if you want to use the telephone dictation.

Hand held Digital Recorder

If the Client wants to do their dictation in their handheld devices, they can send us the voice files from your office, your home PC, or your laptop by email or can upload them in our secured FTP server or in our web enable server.

	Freedom to dictate on the run without telephone usage.
	Dictation is easy to review as voice file is retained on the Dictaphone.
	Five hour recording capacity.

Client can view or download the files on any net-enabled PC anywhere in the world.

DOCUMENT RETRIEVAL OPTIONS:

We will return you the documents back by following Method.

3.	Through Web-based online system: Our advanced web based technology gives freedom to access your documents anywhere, anytime in the world. Clients can log on to Meditech online file tracking system and access information about a single or a set of dictations. Meditech's Web-based system permits clients with an authenticated user ID and password to track any patients report 24 hours a day, year round, from any where in the world.
4.	Through Fax

We will make a specific template for your clinic/hospital as per your instructions and use that template to do your transcription. We can also create a copy of your letterhead in Microsoft Word and type your letters directly in that, so you just need to print out the documents on blank papers. We can also combine all the documents in one document and give page breaks after every report so that you just have to download and print the documents only once.

We can keep the back up of reports for one year so that you can ask for the reports anytime.
